Well . . . And I am fully stealing this from someone else. The mandatory meetings that universtiry often requires for new member briefings, pledges rights, and anti-hazing information are some of the clearest examples of hazing that exist.
It is mandatory for the pledges and the organization, and the pledge cannot be initiated without thse meetings. In fact, if the organization initiates anyway, even though the pledge may have conscientiously objected to a mandatory requirement, the whole chapter can be sanctioned.
