Drugs and their users are not limited to urban, ghetto, poor areas. Middle class and upper middle class folks who seem to "have it all together" or not hurting for dollars" abuse drugs (illegal and perscription ) just as much and more than someone from a regular working-class home. Addiction DOES NOT CARE where your from, who your are, or how big your bank account is. Frankly, the reason why drugs have continued to be a problem that plagues our nation, is because as long as drugs were isolated to poor ghetto communities, there was no need to be alarmed. But as soon as drugs began to ravage the "safe-haven" of the middle class suburds, now the collective WE have a problem and something should be done. The is no one clear cut solution to a problem that was left to fester for years. Some of the solutions I stated in my earlier post is a start, but I believe EVERYONE needs to committed to getting rid of drugs regardless of whether its at your back door or not. Continue to do nothing and it will be.
