The same thing happens with voicemail greetings. Just because you take the time to list your office hours in your greeting, doesn't mean people are going to listent to it (they're probably just waiting for the voice to stop talking so they can start). Then they wonder why they don't get an immediate response after having left you a message after your stated hours.
