Tiny dancer,
I have been there. My Mom was 84 when she passed. She had a DNR clause in her living will. It was hard, but sometimes we have to step back and consider that maybe at that age prolonging the inevitable is not what our loved one would want, since their quality of life is already so diminished.
I will pray for you to find peace.
