Inverted? No offense to the Sigma Kappas, but I think that's disrespectful to their badge. For instance, you only see the American flag upside down if someone is in extreme distress during times of war.
I would rather see a black ribbon behind the badge. I've seen that pretty often. To me, that expresses your grief but isn't turning the badge upside down.
