^^^ That may be true, SoCalGirl. but sort of an unfair slam on the university maybe? I mean, it's not like you go visit the campus and don't notice that there's a pretty rough neighborhood surrounding the campus!
I think USC has done a lot over the years to IMPROVE the safety of the neighborhood by buying and rehabbing dilapidating properties...and they def educate their students on the importance of taking responsibility for their personal security. All of the Greek houses have very good security systems- better than most of the other houses I've been to at other schools in "better" neighborhoods.
