Don't feel bad. My Indian friend turned her parents down three times for arranged marriages. Finally, she gave in. The videos from the wedding are so funny. She had a look of horror on her face when they tied the necklace on her (equivalent to the ring in the US). Luckily, he is a wonderful man.
