Mmm hmm. I'm reading this as, the "friend" (who I strongly suspect is the OP herself) terminated her membership three months after accepting her bid - and at some point during those three months, she crossed. Which means she didn't depledge, she disaffiliated.
I don't know if there are any rules preventing her from pursuing membership in another sorority, but she should be prepared for some questions as to why she left the other org.
Also, if the "friend" and the OP are actually two separate people, why isn't the "friend" here on GC herself? Why isn't she doing her own research?
