Well old lady...I guess you finally made it to the Heaven you talked about so often...everyone today spoke of your strength and of the fact that you would speak your mind regardless...I have always admired that in you, you have always been my hero...I've been thinking back over all the lessons you taught me and everything makes sense now...I find myself telling my daughter to stand up straight, walk like you have a purpose and to speak clearly...the same things you use to say to me....I'm so thankful she had a chance to meet the woman who shaped my life...I didn't come around often this past year, but it was only because it pained me to see you weak and not your normal lively self..but it seems like just yesterday when I would bring you a Whopper and sit there and laugh as you cut off piece by piece with a knife and eat it..all the other great grands knew I was your favorite
....there are so many memories from my childhood that have flooded my mind over the last few days and I am thankful for every second I spent with you, you always praised me when I did right and let me know when I was doing wrong....you never let me forget that you weren't too old to beat me with your cane or that you loved me... I appreciate both..if I live by the example that you set, I'm sure I will see you again one day....
