Amycat- We're about the same age, and I just have to say don't knock it 'til you've tried it. Older men can be a lot of fun...if you can get them out of their walkers.

Actually in a span of one year I went from dating a 23 year old to a 50-something. The young one was half my age plus 7, and if you use James' equation, the older one was still too old for me.
James, I strongly recommend that you avoid using that equation when selecting you next girlfriend because you might wind up at a high school prom since you are so young yourself.
