Actually, it's not that much easier being on the tall end of things. (Warning, people are probably going to start hating me approximately...now) I'm not TOO tall...5'8...but I'm thin and it seems like about 90% of my height is legs. So if I buy to fit my waist/hips/etc. everything hits me at the calf. But if I buy to fit my leg length, I can fit another person inside my pants.
