This is a similar true story. In 1999 a bull going off to slaughter decided he had a different idea. He broke free and ran all around Queens, NY. The police managed to catch the bull and shot it 41 times. The ASPCA and PETA got involved until they realized it was in a heavily residential neighborhood with families about to go to church and the bull weighed a ton or two. The bull was killed one block away from my house. When my sister saw the story, she looked at me and said, "Barbeque across the street!"
