*sigh* I don't expect every black person walking the face of God's green Earth to be a human history book. Yes, some terms used today are derived from negative meanings: Jigga Boo, N*gga, etc. but then there are some which no one can truly pinpoint an origin. Most of these terms used today where created by slave owners to pit us against ourselves in the first place.

Ex: Lighter (mulatto) skinned blacks vs Darker skinned blacks
"Good hair" vs "Bad Hair"
Bourgie vs country (that n_ _ _ _ _ thinks he's better than you)



One really has to question why we are hating on ourselves in the first place and why we don't tackle this self hate in the second place
