I had lived out from college for three years before I met FI- he didn't have anything, but it was good cause i have EVERYTHING. My aunt and I are really close and she had given me everyday dishes- set of eight, then later she gave me the entire dining room set (china cabinet, table, buffet) and the china and silver she didn't want anymore.

We have all the daily needs, but we are registering for the china pattern I want, the formal silver we like, and new everyday dishes and flatware mainly because what I have isn't really me, and he doesn't like it either. We are also registering for nice sheets and plush towels. Other than that, a few small electric appliances for the kitchen, some practical kitchen things, and maybe some items we want for decorations.

I really don't know what to register for, and I am like the earlier poster, I don't want a million frames, a million small appliances we don't need, etc. Ugh.
