The State of Georgia is in the process of downsizing the statewide technology portion of state workers. Some of the duties will be outsourced.
The Ga. Technology Authority let about 46 people go today. I don't know if they were all programmers and/or administrative type people.
Employees where I work are probably worried about where they will end up.
