When I was in undergrad we got rid of our sweethearts. That was a goal of mine, even before I became a member. I said if I'm selected I'm going to do whatever I can to get rid of them. I couldn't stand those girls. Nothing against sweethearts on other campuses but when I was in undergrad, most of ours (with the exception of a few) were groupies, and I can't stand that mess.
