I personally have no problem with tattoos that are a form of self-expression, not of those that are a drunken mistake from Spring Break. Although I myself don't have any [yet] that reflect AOII, quite a few of my sisters do. Many have found simple sketches of a cross, anchor and heart [symbolizing faith, hope and charity/love]. Others have taken that basic concept and turned it into a more artistic approach, with an old wooden cross that ends with an anchor piercing a heart. While that may not sound as beautiful as it is, words can't really describe the artwork.
Overall, I think that a tattoo to represent the lifelong sisterhood you find in AOII can be a tasteful and positive experience.
