is there a ropes course anywhere near you? we did that awhile back ago and it was fantastic. doing it in the morning and then having a time for reflection exercises would work out well if that's the kind of thing you're looking for.

another activity that i really enjoyed and was very touching was a game called cross the line. you make an "invisible" line out of packing tape on the floor and all the pledges (and active sisters, if they're participating) stand on one side of it. one sister stands on the other side with a list of situations and reads them one by one. for example, the script kind of goes like this: "Cross the line if you've ever been abused. (all who it applies to cross the line and turn to face those who haven't crossed) Look at who is in front of you. Look to your left, and to your right. Take a moment to reflect on the connections you've just made. (pause) Step back over the line." Continue like this and watch as connections are made. They don't all have to be sad though. we started out with silly ones like "Cross the line if you like puppies" and progressively got more serious. Usually everyone needs a hug by the end good luck!!!!
