That's true, and one of the reasons I pledged Alpha Xi Delta at the University of Illinois...the house was/is one of the most beautiful and historic homes in Urbana. For almost 80 years, Kappa sisters called this their home. I have many fond memories of walking to and from classes from the southeast part of campus, including watching the seasons change as I cut through Illini Grove and walking up one of the few remaining brick streets in Urbana to the home that provided so much friendship and opportunities in a safe environment while I was at the U. of I.

I look forward to Kappa's recolonization so other sisters may experience our Founders vision of realizing their potential, pursuing dreams and developing life-long friendships. I encourage all to take that same walk to experience what we enjoyed for so many years, especially as we lay the foundation for the next 80 years and beyond.
