I meant for the original poster to check with her alumnae about how a Christmas themed skit went in the past. Sorry if it seemed as though my post was a response to you. *hugs*
I agree that anything remotely related to a Christian based holiday is skirting a fine line.

As for my chapter, just because they did something in the past does not make it correct to do it now. What is appropriate changes, and people make mistakes. I'm unaware of them having done a Christmas skit, and hey, if they did, it could have been great--just like if the OP did a skit with the utmost care and consideration, it could also be great.

I'm just saying that putting extra thought into what may or may not be offensive never hurts, and that's doubly true with religion!
