I am sad because yesterday, Christmas Eve, we buried my best friend's little brother Zach. He was 39 and passed away last Monday, we think from a heart attack. He leaves behind two young children, Riley and Landon 8 and 6 years old. Zach, his sister Rebecca and I all went to University together at Southwest Texas State University and he used to get after me all the time to get after my homework and study hard. I miss him very much.
I am glad for all of the GCers that I have gotten to know this last year and it has made an impact on me how important it is to tell people that I know and love how important they are to me. You are all important to me and I am thankful for all of you. |
Congratulations to your parents, iceland, and so very, very sorry about the loss of your best friend's brother and for his family. There's never an easy time of year to go through that, but sheesh, on Christmas Eve?!?! That's the worst. My heart breaks for those young kids...
