Colin Powell shows that he gets it and Bush doesn't. The whole issue is how to prevent the spread of AIDS. The Bush position that the way to do that is to abstain from sex unless you are married is ludicrous. There are many wives out there who have contracted the disease from their husbands.
AIDS does not discriminate against race, color, creed, or marital status. But the virus cannot pass through latex condoms. So the best way for everyone to be safe, other than abstention, is the use of such condoms.
