I agree. The partnerships that we foster definitely inculcate into our members a sense of variety that is needed in our society today. Also, since they speak to alumnae groups, as well, these partnerships allow our sisters to choose an arena where they would like to participate; we're not forced into a box, so to speak. I know when I was in college, which wasn't too very long ago, I wanted even MORE involvement in our programs and philanthropies, but sometimes, we weren't always able to make the leap to do it. In my alumnae association, however, the sky is the limit. One question I do have for those of you who have participated in the Junior League program: what exactly do you do? I have always wondered that, since neither my AA nor my collegiate chapter connected with that program. Thanks!
