I would love to hear from you on this topic as well. As an older Kappa Delta, my concern is over doing it. Too many programs, perhaps? I can't see our chapter members being involved in all these programs and still being involved in other campus activities as well. It seems overwhelming to me but again maybe I'm just old. I even heard Avon and Maidenform mentioned at Convention this summer. Does anyone know what that is about?
I know I may be really off base and you can put me in my place as a sister has permission to do but I thought we were a social sorority. I know philanthropic ideals have always been a part of our sisterhood as they should be but is it becoming the focal point of our sisterhood. I know I don't have my ear to what is really going on in colleges today but is the focus on philanthropy in all NPC groups are just ours.
You have to understand, I predate Shamrock. When I was in school our only Philanthropy was Children's Hospital and the Awards for Research.
Please don't take me too much too task. It is an honest question
