if a gypsy moth means that there are newheads (and some oldheads) that are part of the alumnae chapters of sororities that know about or participate in hazing at the undergrad level but fake the funk when at their own chapter meetings or events, then yes it happens quite often...and this helps keep the pledging/hazing mentality alive...there are a lot of grown 30+ year old women who believe that MIP is not enough and will if not take part in, turn their heads to whats happening in undergrad chapters but cry foul when it blows up...
