We have bigs and littles, big bigs and little littles, and each family has a mascot, the bears, the cats, the lions, the flamingos, the ladybugs etc. On bid day each pledge gets a mentor who is of a similar if not the same major as their mentee and they help them get involved in the house and with any schoolwork etc.
