I don't know what my honey
has planned for me this year for V-Day.
God does have someone out there for everyone. HE just wants to prepare us to be able to handle the best that HE has made for us.
However, around this time in 2000, it was just me and my cat Mojo.
so my single friends and I would throw a party together.
It was called "AIN'T NO LOVE (insert year)" and any single person was invited. We started doing this in 1996 and the goal every year was NOT TO GET INVITED! We would decorate, buy a cake,and food. We would crank the music up, dance, exchange gifts with one another, and just revel in the fact that yes we are single and that's ok! We would even make fake "membership cards" for everyone that attended. Although, I have not been a "card carrying member" for 2 years straight :-) I am glad that I had plenty of fun instead of spending V-day depressed.
