The judges picked Danielle two years earlier and her southern accent is no harder for some people to distinguish than Jaslene's Spanish accent. Most of the top working models are from Brazil, Australia, and eastern Europe...they ALL have accents.

You are missing the point. She was basically saying that if Heather won it was because she is special needs and it would be a pity win. Hence me asking, what would Jaslene have been then? I apologize if that offended you.
Also, I could care less about the Spanish accent, I work in a low SES district where 90% of my kids are ESL and they still speak better than Jaslene, accent has nothing to do with it. Jaslene just can't talk (which probably has more to do with the education systems back when she was growing up, ESL education has gotten more forefront in the last 5-10 years than it did 15-20 years ago).
Plus 33girl is right, they probably picked Jaslene to target a certain market. And that shouldn't be the case. This goes for Heather too. If her (Heather) pictures start going downhill and she can't pull off the next commercial, get rid of her. IMPO the judges shouldn't be all about targeting markets, whether it be the special needs market or any racial markets. But that's not how the business is and it's kind of sad.
Yes, I think Heather would be a role model, but other than Bianca, I think the rest of the girls would be good role models.
