BrownSugaBabe,
I feel you girl, I feel that "whatever" pain so much right now..I'on even know how to explain it. It must be the weather, cuz I have no desire to lift a finger to work out or anything. I have a story..and it's a bit long, so bear with me...
About 3 weeks ago (or more..I forget), a girlfriend of mine who is vegan, came to me all excited, she had come across a new way to eat that she claimes will change your life. I had been telling her how I hit a wall and didn't know how to get over it, and that I was on the verge of giving up this whole health eating and stuff. Now mind you, this is the same girl who got me all hyped on running this year and I still run..erry' now-n-den ..but she has stopped running since late summer.
She tells me about becoming a raw foodist..someone who doesn't cook their food. At frist thought, I was like.CV, here you go again...I'm aint eating raw meats and isht..that aint even gonna happen. So she sends me all sorts of websites and a video to watch and I read that raw foodists eat nothing but fruits and veggies and some nuts. There is no meat, no sugar, no processed food and no cooking. So I told her I would try it for two weeks to see if it could help me get over this fitness/health wall I had hit.
Well 3 weeks latter and about 8lbs lighter, about 70% to 80% of my diet has been nothing but raw foods and I actually feel great and look even better. It's not for everyone and you really have to read what's out there to be better informed.
Here is some information
