Hi Barbie! I rushed as a junior at Ole Miss, and did receive a bid. I didn't know too many girls in the sororities either. I would definitely do it if I were you. This is by far the best decision I have ever made. I love it! There are two or three other girls in my pledge class that are also juniors and a few sophomores. Stay open minded because the girls that you do know might not pull much weight when it comes to selecting the new members. But I think the experience of fall rush is worth it, but that's just my opinion.
A lot of people might tell you that it will be harder as a junior, and it probably will be, but honestly, how will you know unless you try? I had girls from a couple sororities tell me they automatically cut all juniors, but you really do wind up where you belong.
