Not quite as bad, but when daughter number two was a JV Cheerleader, in their first football game their team was ahead 60-0 at the end of the first half.
I don't know if Colorado has an official "mercy rule" in place, but both teams decided to play the second half without stopping the clock -- except for injuries.
