You just described the entire "pop" genre. From an artistic standpoint, it's all pretty much garbage.
You're right though -- that she makes that much money off of grunting and making sex sounds for a microphone should be insulting to someone... but this is America -- we have a system which allows for that sort of insanity.
The fact is that by merely stamping the word "Britney" on an album, you guarantee millions of buyers. She is more of a name brand at this point than she is an artist. Viewed in that light, I don't think she is nearly as much of an insult to the free market system
