Bodies of Skydivers Found

Searchers combing the rugged Cascade Range in Washington found the last victims of a plane crash that killed 10 people, including a group returning from a skydiving event in Idaho, authorities said Tuesday.
The Cessna 208 Grand Caravan was seen plunging toward the ground on radar moments before the crash, said Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokeswoman Laura Brown.

The Cessna 208 models are particularly susceptible to icing, according to federal accident investigators. Ice on a plane's wings can cause it to suddenly go out of control. The National Weather Service had issued a "moderate icing" alert for the Washington region shortly before the accident.

The debris at the remote crash site indicated that the plane went down in a steep nosedive, Yakima County Sheriff Ken Irwin told a news conference at a command center. Searchers found the wreckage Monday night after following the scent of fuel.

The plane left Star, Idaho, near Boise, on Sunday evening for Shelton, Wash., northwest of Olympia. It disappeared from radar at about 8 p.m.
