I love the word "loyal" - I would have a few key members stand up and using the word - loyal - tell what Zeta Sigma Phi means to them and how each person is loyal to the other. Have the room dim- with candlelight. I saw on a site where your flower is the sunflower. Those are pretty expensive to buy for each person attending the pref night but if budget allowed it- it would be a nice touch. If not- maybe something with sunflower seeds. We went outside to a "wishing well" and made a wish and dropped the carnation into the well. Maybe you could do something with the seeds- by going outside and each person could drop their seeds into a garden and make a wish. You are planting the seeds which will help you grow and define who you are. You are helping the group grow - "you will help define the group... the group will not define you" (I saw that on the site too as your motto).
