I started with the medium kit and have a full size Light to work with. This foundation really is VERY forgiving and mixes well to get a perfect match. Right now I'm using a mix of Light and Med Beige and it covers well.

I do the same thing since I have some hyperpigmentation issues going on. I think the great thing about this makeup is there are no set rules, but do whatever works for you.
