I mean technically, it's not the worst area. The bronx has by far the worst areas in ny. That part of union turnpike is pretty safe since it's well lit and all. But it's right up against Jamaica which blows. The shopping deals are pretty funny, but you sit there for an hour going back and forth with a korean guy to drop the price 20 bucks on a pair of kicks as long as you pay in cash. I'm not sure if the colliseum is still around but that was one dank place.
Forrest hills was just a haven for goofy russian immigrants. Lots of hair gel and shiny shirts.
