Question the KKK & Greeks??

I have heard lots of rumors flying around (both on my campus and from students at other schools) about certain Greek organizations having historical connections to the Klu Klux Klan. I was wondering if anyone else has heard these rumors? I was also hoping someone could either confirm or deny them for me (ideally based on their personal experience with the GLO's in question).
Here's the list:

1) Kappa Alpha Order (KA) - rumored to be formed as a collegiate sector for the Klan. Evidence - Choice of letters, spiritual founder Robert E. Lee, & use of confederate battle flag.

2) Kappa Sigma - Rumored to be Klansmen's sons. Evidence - choice of letters, souther presence, and supposedly initiation ceremony & small symbols

3) Kappa Kappa Gamma - rumored to be Klansmen's Girlfriends, or Girls of the Klan. Evidence - choice of letters and strong social southern association,

3) Kappa Delta - Rumored to be Klansmen's Daughters,
Evidence - Choice of letters, supposed iniation ceremonies, place of founding.
