HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Police are investigating an incident in which students and faculty at a High Point, N.C., high school said four nooses were hung from a tree at the school, reports WXII-TV.
The finding occurred Friday morning at Andrews High School.
We want to impress upon you that this inappropriate act is not a representation of Andrews' administration, students or staff," Principal Monique Wallace said in a letter to parents. (Read The Entire Letter) Andrews and GCS will not tolerate behavior that is discriminatory or that disrupts the safe learning environment of our students.
"Should your child observe inappropriate behavior or have any information regarding this incident, please ask him/her to immediately notify a teacher, staff member or our school's resource officer," the letter said.
Counselors were at the school to talk with students.
Classes took place as scheduled Friday. - OH NOW WTF????
