I am so glad that everyone *thinks* they know all about me and my life. I didn't realize that using sarcasm to make a point on this little planet we call GC would negate all the things I do in my life and the lives of others to make things better for this world. If me making a few wisea$$ remarks along the way has so damaged your perception of what being greek means, then you have problems I can't even begin to name. If someones sarcasm would cause you to doubt your desire to be greek -- good! Because you don't have the faintest clue about what greek life and being a sister/brother in a bond means.
Here's a few notables for you all to sit around and discuss my qualities of "goodness" in my real life:
ARC (Assoc. for Retarded Citizens) -
Volunteer -- 14 years (here's a clue - thats HALF my age)
ARC - Family of the Year Volunteer award - 3 years running.
ARC - Volunteer of the Year award finalist - 2 years running.
Salvation Army - Volunteer 10 years
S.A. - Family of the Year Volunteer award
S.A. - After School Tutor Volunteer
Am currently seeking legal guardianship of a 44 year old woman with downs syndrome -- she has family who abandoned her to rot in a prison like institution - have worked with her for 7 years
Employee of the month -- too many times to remember in working with a state based group home for DDA clients
AXO - Service chair; Alum president; projects focused on serving the victims of domestic violence; foundation contributions
Church missions, projects, overseas missions, homeless missions, childrens missions, are you getting the idea yet?

So please, let me know just how many warm fuzzies I need to hand out on here to make people think that *wow* you can be a really good person and still have a sense of humor in life. Yes, I do refer to the "resident psychos" because for the most part, EVERYONE on here who is a regular knows who and what I mean.
Here's a great quote for you:
"[If] you want coddling, go on a diet and hire Richard Simmons"
-Harlan Coben "Tell No One"
~~~~~~~~
So please oh please - won't you please deem me worthy of being a good person since I live and breathe every breath according to what people on this board think of me?! My goodness in my own personal life and the lives of those I work with mean nothing to me without the approval of people on this board who have been so ready to judge me in with the bad people because I am guilty of using some sarcasm. [AXO Alum breaking down into desperate sobs]
Thanks, mccoyred - to the point as usual
