Unfortunately, the AKA’s here (most, I haven’t met the 3-4 others) are very unfriendly, rude, and by no means at all do they truly represent any of the qualities or standards of Alpha Kappa Alpha! Not to mention using extreme profanity in their quotes and in “about me” section. I am still very interested in becoming a member but I am sad to say that I wish to have no affiliation with these ladies. I can guarantee that the founders of this wonderful sorority would be deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with these current members.
Finally, I am afraid that I may still be ignorant to some aspects of Greek life. Any links or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well, honey ... since you just can't stand the thought of being affiliated with those "horrible" AKAs at your school, then there's nothing you can do. You can never be an AKA, because then you will definitely be affiliated with them - even if you did wait and try for grad chapter! It's just a shame.
You'll have to choose a different sorority instead. Look around on Facebook and see which orgs the properly covered girls are in.
