Something girls in my chapter do is get their drop (or lavalier or whatever you want to call it) turned into a ring and get diamonds and pearls set around it. It's absolutely beautiful and you can wear it anywhere. If you're looking for something a little less pricey you can leave out the diamonds, etc. and it still looks great!
