I've been hanging on to this same weight for weeks! As another bonus, my YMCA memberships is still active.... I'm going back on tomorrow. I think I'll be taking up a running program. Maybe Couch-to-5K. I think I might train for the Team in Training marathon in Walt Disney World in January. I want to jump start 2008!!

I also purchased a Brita water filtration pitcher. I need to drink more water and bottled water is starting to hurt my pockets. So, I'm gonna give the Brita a try.

9 more pounds to my first mini-goal!
Congrats on your lifestyle change. I like the Brita filter. I have the one that you affix to your faucet. I had the pitcher when I was in school....it's not bad either and it serves it's purpose.

I'm making it a priority to take better care of myself. I'm approaching 30, I want children one day and I have to get my health in order. My wake-up was when i got my results back from my cholesterol test. I thought I ate pretty healthy. My latest addiction has been sparkpeople.com. I like the fact that I can track my caloric intake, I can track how much water I'm drinking and everything. I've joined a couple of groups on there and I think it's made my journey a little bearable.

We have a waterclub at my job....so i get my 8-glasses of water in @ work. . I might drink a half or a bottle of water with my dinner. I also like Sam's choice bottled water and sometimes they have 2 cases for $5 and I think it's 12 or 16 bottles in a case.

I get a gym membership discount through my insurance...if any of you ladies have Blue Cross Blue Shield, i don't think it matters if it's HMO or PPO...check into I think it's called the HealthyStart program. Either way, it should be on the BCBS homepage. I pay $17/month for my gym membership. So i'm getting my hindparts in gear to lose this weight.

Psst....i've lost 8 lbs. thus far. I have 9 more to go before I hit my first mini-goal.
