One potential student brought her two kids with her, who could not be quiet during the program. Guess she got tired of the angry looks b/c she left about 15 minutes later. I know how it is when you can't find babysitting, but did you really expect them to sit QUIETLY for over an hour? With only one book to read?
The program sounds competitive, but very good. Big focus on training counselors in advocacy and multicultural issues, which was different. Counseling is not just white, euro men talking to white euro women, to paraphrase. So we shall see. The push to finish my packet starts next week.
