Wow, I haven't been here in over a year and decided today to check in and see what the Brotherhood here was talking about. I know I'm late on this discussion, but Brother you need to take a look at the title of your thread.
The original advice the Brother gave you should be taken as a lesson that may be used in future interviews. As you've found out, his hand was forced. In the meantime, you have referred to that Brother as a spy and topped it off by insulting the rest of the Brotherhood by pouting and threatening to walk.
If you want to walk, do your thing. Know that the Brothers will continue walking onward and upward without you. If you're staying, YOU have to be more fraternal. You at least owe that Brother an apology for doubting his integrity.
