ETA: I just received some good news, too. I had been wanting to share this with you all sooner, but I decided not to say ONE WORD, just to be on the safe said... until after recruitment is over. A high school friend of mine decided to go to Auburn, and she went through recruitment this past week. I was so nervous for her because obviously she's not from the south, she has no ties to Greek life, etc. Anyway, she just told me that she's going to be in Gamma Phi Beta! Yayyy! I'm so glad everything worked well for her. I didn't ask for too many details about the week since she wanted to go shopping and make a few more exciting phone calls. But I assume that she already knows this because she only went to one pref party? And she obviously did not receive a phone call this morning. Yay! Now I just have to wait for one more high school friend's recruitment to be over with that I'm equally as nervous for. Again, I won't give you any details about it until hers is over too. I hope hers ends up well too! |
You are correct; if your friend already knows where she is going she must have preffed only one house and if she didn't get the dreaded phone call this morning, she knows she's getting a bid to that house.
Congratulations to your friend! 30 more minutes for the rest of us to wait... We're almost there!
