One of our consultants from HQ said when he went to college his brother was a Lambda Chi, so he rushed them, was bid, and joined. He had been friends with them for a while, since the school was near his home. Anyway, shortly after he joined, they decided to ask his dad to become an honor initiate. He ended up initating in the same class as his dad. He didn't really go into details about why they asked him to join, but I assume he did a lot for/with the fraternity. Anyway, I'd say this is the closest thing to a parent being a legacy.
