I said GSU first because that is where I first began the long journey of my college years back in 98'.
I am now seeking my degree from TSU(Texas Southern Univ.)
Grambling State is a great university and it instilled in me the beloved motto: "Where everybody is Somebody" That was the best year of my life.(Maybe because I was away from home) TSU is a great university also.

You are a true Gramblinite when:

You used to walk to the village at about 8:00 to get something to grub on....
You used to sneak to the side of the opposite sex after visitation was over......
You used to sneak the opposite sex in your room or you looked out for your roommate if he/she had after hour "company"....
You used to miss class on Fridays just to sit in front of the caf or the union to chill with the crowd......
You used to sneak your friends in the caf if they didn't have a valid ID....
You used to slip on the Alpha sidewalk(right in front of the union) when it rained...
You used to walk to the Renaissance and walk back....
You used bomb a ride to Ruston to go grocery shopping and to Monroe or Shrevepot to the mall(Pecan Land in particular)

My all time favorite
You used to go to Terry Lilly's arobic classes

OK, GSU flash back... I slipped 5 times on the Alpha sidewalk, I was a JV cheerleader (under Terry Lilly), the school spent in the neighborhood of 1 million dollars to fix the football stadium and it sank anyway, MC Hammer, Mikki Howard & friends were the entertainment for homecomming, Zahara Sims [AKA] was Miss Grambling that year, Tasty's was NASTY, Jones Hall was (still is?) a roach motel, so was Truth, I snuck my male friend in once but he snuck me in his dorm, Douglass, many times. I think I can relate, as a matter of fact, I'm not sure I've gotten over it GSU ROCKS THE HOUSE!
