I <3 this show.
But when I pledged in fall of '02 we were able to wear letter shirts. Only in '04 did our chapter start waiting until Initiation because it made the day more special -- getting your first letter shirt that is. I don't think it's against the rules by our nationals either way... just a preference thing.
