I will never forget being a ten year old and begging my parents to let me stay up late so I could watch the end. I was so sad when Kerri hurt herself, but did the vault again regardless!!!!!! In the mind of a sleep- deprived ten-year old, I remember going to bed that night thinking that Kerri Strug was my hero!!!

I am honored that she is fellow Theta sister!
She's my favourite gymnast of all-time! Do you have her autobiography? I've read my copy so many times that it's falling apart. If I saw her today I'd go all squealy fangirl on her, I swear. It's funny because she says people don't really recognize her anymore or kind of do but can't place her. I was 11 when the '96 Olympics occurred and I'd turned on the telly and found the finals by accident (still living in England at the time) and actually got to see that history in the making. Incredible.
