It is still very hot tonight, all re runs, my CDs and player are packed, and my extended houseguests are leading a songfest outside , and it seems the neighbors have joined in. They are singing 50s, 60s era, and camp songs.
I think the songfest, singalong, is how my houseguests, both 18, are getting back at me for not buying beer---they are 18.
Whatever the reason, the gathered group has done several choruses of a Donovan (sp?) song, ...do you have a shirt you really love?
After shirt, then comes jeans, and then, I think it's shoes.
So, my favorite shirt: a long-sleeved T-shirt with a hand stitched rainbow and heart, bought in Jamaica.
Favorite jeans: from a thrift shop for $5 and they fit better than a $90 dollar pair.
Favorite shoes: a beat up pair of tennis shoes that have character.
Those as bored as the outdoor singers, or those into clothes, what are your favorities? I know this is silly, but the past year has been silly.
